Adams' Pack Station at Chantry Flats and Sturteveant Falls Hike

Above Sierra Madre, in the San Grabriel Mountains, you will find this small pack station--a family run operation saturated with with dogs, cats, donkeys, goats, chickens and according to their website 'little people'...The Adams Family (not to be confused with the Addams Family...) doesn't actually run the place anymore but I guess the 'little people' do...If you're really interested in the history you can read a lengthy history of the place on their website above (click the question mark symbol). The pack station serves drinks and food, so you can sip on a cold beer after a long hike if you please. They also have bbqs and live music on the weekend. There are several trail heads starting from the pack station, including ones to the Sturtevant Falls and Mt. Wilson. I believe there is also camping along the trail to Mt. Wilson. You can find more information about the trails here.
